Antique signed landscape oil painting of man walking through woods. English, circa 1910. Signed by the artist but tricky to decipher the signature. Oil on canvas. Gilt frame (more modern). Size of frame: 22.75 x 16.75 inches; Size of canvas: 20 x 14 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 19.5 x 13.5 inches. Weight: 1.2 kg (allow 6 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, minor paint loss, craquelure, some damage to canvas ie a small hole with repair on reverse, and wooden frame has been sprayed with gilt paint and is more modern but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
