Antique signed French Impressionist landscape oil painting study of path through woods. French, circa 1900-10. Signed by the artist but tricky to decipher signature. Oil on panel. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Depicts a path through the woods. Size of frame: 18.5 x 12.5 inches; Size of panel: 12.25 x 6 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 12 x 5.75 inches. Weight: 2.3 kg (allow 6 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and lots of knocks to and pieces missing from gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
