Antique Scottish river landscape oil painting entitled On the Cluny, Braemar, Scotland by JWH Geere. Scottish, circa 1900-10. Unsigned but artist's name is on the reverse together with "On the Cluny, Braemar, Scotland". Oil on canvas. Wooden oak frame. Depicts an arched stone bridge with mountains in the background. Size of frame: 19 x 12.25 inches; Size of canvas: 15 x 8.25 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 14.5 x 7.5 inches. Weight: 1.15 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure, some minor paint flaking in bottom righthand corner and some foxing at top, and some minor knocks to wooden frame, but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
