Depicts the Fitzwilliam coat of arms and Latin emblem - honesty is the best policy. Oil on panel. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Size of frame: 12.5 x 10.25 inches; Size of painting: 9.75 x 6.5 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 6.75 x 4.25 inches. Weight: 1.1 kg (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Reasonable condition for its age - various superficial marks & scratches and lots of craquelure but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
