Copley Fielding is an artist born in England (United Kingdom) in 1787 and deceased in 1855. Oil on canvas. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Depicts loch and mountains with cows. Size of frame: 25 x 19.5 inches; Size of canvas: 18 x 12 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 17.75 x 11.75 inches. Weight: 2.3 kg (allow up to 8 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure, some cracks to frame and some damage to canvas with a repair to reverse but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged.
