Antique river landscape oil painting study of a gorge signed G Willis Pryce (2 of 2). English, circa 1900-10. Oil on canvas. Gilt gesso frame. Depicts a fiver in gorge - possibly the Peak District, Derbyshire. Size of frame: 21.25 x 15.25 inches. Size of canvas: 18 x 11.75 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 17 x 11.5 inches. Weight: 1.45 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and it is in its original state ie has not been cleaned. The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate. Priced accordingly.
