Antique river landscape oil painting of the Norfolk Broads signed W Leslie Rackham. English, circa 1900. Signed by the artist, William Leslie Rackham (1864-1944), Norfolk School of Painters. "William Leslie Rackham lived in Thorpe Hamlet Norwich for the last 46 years of his life. Rackham was a talented artist and produced skilfully executed works from his garden studio. His views of Norwich Cathedral, the City Hall and alleyways of the old City were popular subjects for him to paint. It was, however, the Broadland landscape for which he was best known". Depicts sailing boats on the Norfolk Broads. Oil on board. Gilt frame. Size of frame: 13.75 x 11 inches; Size of painting: 10 x 7 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 9.75 x 6.75 inches. Weight: 600g (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed).
