Antique river landscape oil painting of a stone bridge. English, circa 1910. Signed with artist's monogram, possibly GF. Oil on canvas. Gilt frame. Depicts a stone bridge and waterfall at sunset. Size of frame: 13.25 x 11.25 inches; Size of canvas: 16.5 x 12.5 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 9.5 x 7.5 inches. Weight: 666g (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, some flaking to paintwork and some minor knocks to gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. As mentioned, there are areas where the antique paintwork has started to flake off from the canvas. Whilst every care will be taken with packing, I cannot guarantee that more flaking will occur in transit so please be aware of this before buying (and any such risk will be on the buyer).
