Distressed gilt gesso frame.Size of frame: 11.5 x 9 inches.Size of painting: 8.5 x 6 inches.Weight: 650g (allow 2 kg once packed).Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, some paint loss, and lots of knocks and pieces missing from gesso frame. Best described as distressed, faded grandeur or shabby chic but all part of its charm and character.Priced accordingly.Just for the sake of clarity, please note that this painting is not glazed (which is probably just as well as it would make posting more hazardous and costly).This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged. Please understand this before committing to buy and it will need to be understood that the item cannot be returned for this reason.
