Antique river landscape oil painting Alpine scene signed Rouyer. Thought to be of French or Swiss origin. Oil on canvas. Gilt frame. Depicts cottage, milkmaid and man fishing from boat. Size of frame: 16 x 11.5 inches. Size of canvas: inches.13 x 8.75 inches. Weight: 1 kg (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some damage and knocks to the gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
