Antique Pre-Raphaelite style oil painting portrait study of a family cast away on a wreck at sea. English School, circa 1900. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas. Pre-Raphaelite in style. Depicts a couple with baby asleep, cast away on a wreck at sea, with barrels. Size: 24.75 x 19.5 inches. Weight: 900g (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and a couple of small repairs to reverse of canvas but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
