Antique oil painting study of pigs and cow in barn signed John Cotting Pink 1859. English, signed by the artist, John Cotting Pink (but can't be absolutely sure though as signature is very faint) and dated 1859. Depicts a couple of pigs and a cow in barn. Oil on canvas. Gilt gesso frame. Size of frame: 23.25 x 19.5 inches; Size of canvas: 20 x 16 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 19.5 x 15.5 inches. Weight: 1.7 kg (allow 7 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, lots of craquelure and some knocks to and pieces missing from gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
