Antique oil painting study of cockerel hens and pigeons. English, circa 1910. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas. Depicts a cockerel, hens in barn, with pigeons stealing their food. Size: 22.25 x 14.25 inches; Weight: 785g (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, significant craquelure and some damage to canvas with a repair to reverse but all part of its charm and character. The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate. Priced accordingly.
