Gilt gesso frame. Depicts a scene from the Crimean War in 1856. Size of frame: 21.5 x 15 inches; Size of canvas: 17.75 x 11.75 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 17.5 x 11 inches. Weight: 2.32 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and lots of knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
