Antique oil painting portrait study of horse and cow (2 of 2). English School, circa 1860-90. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas, remounted onto new canvas backing. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Size of frame: 16 x 13 inches. Size of canvas: 12 x 9.75 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 11.75 x 9.25 inches. Weight: 1.6 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some craquelure but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
