Antique oil painting portrait study of elderly man and granddaughter. English School, circa 1880-90. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on panel. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Size of frame: 9.5 x 8.5 inches; Size of panel: 6 x 5 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 4.5 x 3.5 inches. Weight: 421g (allow up to 2 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame, particularly in bottom lefthand corner (a small piece has fallen off since photographing). Priced accordingly.
