Antique oil painting portrait study of elderly lady in bonnet. English School, circa 1860-90. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on board. Gilt gesso frame. Depicts a an elderly lady in bonnet. Size of frame: 12.75 x 12.5 inches; Size of portrait: 7.75 x 7 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 7.25 x 6.75 inches. Weight: 1.5 kg (allow up to 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This is a genuine antique original and authentic work of art which I have had remounted in a period frame. All the paintings I offer are unique and period. Just for the sake of clarity, please note that this painting is not glazed.
