Provenance on reverse - entitled "Polly" by Pryse (Gerald Spencer Pryse, British, 1882-1956). Oil on board. Gilt ebonised frame. Depicts a young girl called Polly in a yellow dress and hair ribbon with doll. Size of frame: 22.75 x 18.75 inches; Size of portrait: 20 x 16 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 19.5 x 15.25 inches. Weight: 1.3 kg (allow 6 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some minor knocks to and pieces missing from frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
