Antique mounted head of an Oribi by Gerrard of London from Sudan dated 1910. Mounted by English firm of Gerrard & Sons, London (shape of plaque denotes the taxidermist). Marked "Oribi, Sudan 1910" on wooden plaque (nice provenance). Size of plaque: 7 x 4.75 inches. Weight: 1.8 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Tatty condition, commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches to plaque and the head is generally very tatty with a lot of damage to the muzzle (cracks) and very tatty ears but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
