Antique Majolica ceramic spitoon

Antique Majolica ceramic spitoon. English, circa 1880-1900. "England" on base. Top aperture (for spitting) and pouring hole on side. It would probably have originally sat on the bar of an inn so that tobacco chewers could spit. Size: Base diameter: 7 inches; top diameter: 5 inches; aperture: 1 inch; height: 3.25 inches. Weight: 805g (allow 2 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various minor superficial marks & scratches but otherwise fine. Priced accordingly.
