Antique landscape oil painting with shepherd and sheep at sunset. English, circa 1890-1900. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on board. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Depicts shepherd and flock of sheep at sunset. Size of frame: 16.5 x 13.5 inches; Size of painting: 10.5 x 7.5 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 9.75 x 6.75 inches. Weight: 1.5 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, some minor restoration to frame and some minor knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
