Antique landscape oil painting study of lady with traveller and horse. English School, circa 1860-80. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas. Gilt frame (more modern). Depicts a lady pouring a glass of wine for a traveller with his horse and dog, with a joint of meat on the bench. Size of frame: 18.5 x 15.5 inches; Size of canvas: 14 x 10 inches. Size of front painting aperture: 13.25 x 10 inches. Weight: 1.3 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches with several small repairs to canvas on reverse and some restoration work but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
