Antique landscape oil painting study of harvesters in field. English, circa 1900-10. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas. Gilt gesso frame. Depicts a harvest scene with labourers in field and figures in the foreground. Size of frame: 22.75 x 18.5 inches; Size of canvas: 18 x 14 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 17.5 x 13.25 inches. Weight: 2.1 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure, some knocks to gilt frame, some restoration work and damage to the canvas with several repairs to reverse but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
