Antique landscape oil painting study of farmer leading horse signed Jessie North 1902. English, dated 1902. Signed by the artist. Oil on canvas. Gilt gesso frame. Depicts a farmer leading a horse/pony in the snow. Size of frame: 27 x 21 inches. Size of canvas: 20.25 x 14 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 19 x 13 inches. Weight: 2.6 kg (allow 8 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged.
