Antique landscape oil painting study of an Italian lake. English School, circa 1890-1900. Unsigned, artist unknown, but possibly painted by a British artist whilst on the Grand Tour. Oil on board. Gilt frame with some damage. Depicts an Italian lake scene with boat and buildings. Size of frame: 15 x 13 inches; Size of painting: 24.25 x 14 inches; Size of front aperture: 10.75 x 8.75 inches. Weight: 975g (allow 4 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
