Antique landscape oil painting of traveller with donkey signed A Rennison. English, circa 1890-1900. Signed by the artist. Oil on board. Gilt gesso frame. Depicts a travelling man and his wife with their donkey on a country path. Size of frame: 22 x 15 inches; Size of painting: 15 x 8 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 14 x 7 inches. Weight: 2.2 kg (allow 7 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and lots of knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
