Antique landscape oil painting of Italian lake with villa signed HMcK. Italian, circa 1900. Oil on board. Wooden frame. Signed with artist's monogram, HMcK - possibly painted by a Scottish artist on the Grand Tour. Depicts an Italian lake with villa in the foreground and mountains in the background - an idyllic scene. Size of frame: 14 x 8.5 inches; Size of painting: 12.5 x 7 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 12 x 6.5 inches. Weight: 325g (allow 2 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, some of reverse backing is missing and there are some knocks to and pieces missing from the frame. Priced accordingly.
