Antique landscape oil painting of Italian lake scene with boat. Italian School. Circa 1880-90. Unsigned, artist unknown. Possibly painted whilst on the Grand Tour. Oil on panel. Wooden frame. Depicts a villa (or possibly a church) on the hillside above a lake with mountains in the background and boat in foreground. Size of frame: 17.25 x 13.75 inches. Size of panel: 15.75 x 12 inches. Size of front painting aperture: 14.5 x 11 inches. Weight: 1.25 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to wooden frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
