Crookham is a small village in Northumberland in the north of England. Oil on canvas. Gilt gesso frame. Depicts an autumnal scene by river. Impressionist in style. Size of frame: 15 x 13 inches. Size of canvas: 12 x 9.5 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 11.25 x 9.25 inches. Weight: 754g (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate. Priced accordingly.
