Antique Impressionist oil painting of village with thatched cottages signed NEV Davies 1926. English, dated 1926. Signed by the artist. Oil on canvas, laid on card. Elaborate gilt gesso frame with lots of damage. Slightly Impressionist in style. Size of frame: 17x 13.5 inches. Size of painting: 14 x 10 inches. Front painting aperture: 13.75 x 9.75 inches. Weight: 825g (allow 4.5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and frame is very tatty with lots of damage but all pat of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Best described as shabby chic.
