Antique Gothic Ecclesiastical brass rail

Antique Gothic Ecclesiastical brass rail. English, circa 1890. Hinged, barleytwist rail with Gothic decorative wall mounted brackets. It would originally have been attached to the ends of a pew in churches. Size: Width of rail: 11 inches; Depth of rail: 4 inches; Decorative mounts: 4.5 x 2 inches. Weight: allow 1 kg once packed. Originally positioned on the end of a pew for umbrellas and walking sticks but would make a nice towel rail. Condition commensurate with age and use - tarnished but all part of its charm and character and would probably clean up if so desired. Priced accordingly.
