Antique Georgian still life oil painting study of game bird pheasant (1 of 2). English School, circa 1800-40. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on oak panel. Gilt gesso frame. Depicts a hanging game bird - pheasant. Size of frame: 9.5 x 8 inches; Size of panel: 7 x 6 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 6 x 4.75 inches. Weight: 480g (allow 2 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some minor knocks to gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
