Antique Georgian religious reverse oil painting on glass study of Christ and the Woman of Canaan. English School, circa 1800-20. Reverse oil painting on glass. Wooden frame. A depiction of Jesus and his disciples with the woman of Canaan kneeling down. Size of frame: 17.5 x 13.5 inches. Size of painting: 15 x 10.5 inches. Size of front painting aperture: 13.25 x 9.5 inches. Weight: 1.4 kg (allow 7.5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Apologies for glass reflection in photos.
