Antique Georgian or early Victorian brass pestle and mortar. English, circa 1800-20. Size: Top diameter: 5 inches; Base diameter: 3.5 inches; Height: 4.25 inches. Length of pestle: 6.75 inches. Weight: 1.25 kg (allow 3.5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks and scratches but all part of its charm and character.
