Antique Georgian old master oil painting portrait of young boy. Possibly Italian School, circa 1800-20. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas. Wooden frame. In the style of a Renaissance old master. Size of frame: 22.25 x 19.5 inches; Size of canvas: 17.25 x 14 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 16 x 13 inches. Weight: 2.8 kg (allow 8 kg volumetric weight once packed). Tatty condition, quite distressed - commensurate with age - various superficial mark & scratches, lots of craquelure, paint loss and some knocks to frame but all part of its charm and character. The frame is not original to the work although the painting has been reframed in a period frame. Priced accordingly.
