Antique Georgian oil painting study of dog worrying a cat on a wall. English School, circa 1800-40. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas - relined onto a new canvas backing. Size: 21.5 x 19.5 inches; Weight: 1.2 kg (allow 6 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some paint loss and flaking but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. As mentioned, there are areas where the antique paintwork has started to flake off from the canvas. Whilst every care will be taken with packing, I cannot guarantee that more flaking will occur in transit so please be aware of this before buying (and any such risk will be on the buyer).
