Unsigned, artist unknown but thought to be After George Morland (British, 1763-1804). Depicts a man butchering a pig with dog in attendance. Oil on oak panel. Gilt frame (more modern). Size of frame: 15.5 x 13 inches; Size of panel: 13 x 10.5 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 12.75 x 9.75 inches. Weight: 764g (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, lots of craquelure and some minor knocks to gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
