Antique Georgian oil painting portrait study of 3 dogs. English, circa 1800-40. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on oak panel. Gilt frame. Depicts 3 dogs - 1 greyhound, 1 mastiff and one sheepdog (although I am no expert). Size of frame: 16.5 x 14.25 inches; Size of panel: 12.75 x 10.5 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 12.25 x 10 inches. Weight: 1.6 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, some chunks missing from back of oak panel and lots of marks to gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Best described as shabby chic. Priced accordingly.
