Antique Georgian early Victorian oil painting of hunting dog with mallard duck (2 of 2). English School, circa 1800-40. Oil on board. Rosewood frame. Depicts a hunting dog with a mallard duck in its mouth during a hunting trip. Size of frame: 185 x 15 inches; Size of painting: 14 x 11.25 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 13 x 10.5 inches. Weight: 1.6 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and some knocks to wooden frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
