Antique Georgian early Victorian mahogany cutlery box with 14 misc Georgian steel forks. English, circa 1820-40. Wooden (mahogany) divided cutlery tray with brass handle and 13 misc 3 pronged forks and one 2 pronged pickle fork. Comprises: Set of 5 forks with ox bone handles - length: 6.75 inches; Pair of forks with antler handles - length: 7.5 inches; Pair of small forks with ox bone handles - length: 5 inches; The remaining forks are small and have wooden handles and/or ox bone handles. Combined weight of tray and cutlery: 1.4 kg (allow up to 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks and scratches but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
