Antique Georgian coastal seascape of sailors pulling sailing ship ashore attributed to George Morland. English, circa 1800. Unsigned but attributed to George Morland (British, 1702-1804) - label on reverse but indecipherable. Oil on tin. Gilt gesso frame. Depicts figures/sailors pulling a sailing ship ashore. Size of frame: 13.25 x 11.5 inches; Size of tin panel: 7.5 x 5.75 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 7.5 x 5.5 inches. Weight: 1.58 kg (allow up to 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some minor knocks to gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
