Antique French wooden gilt jewellery decorative display stand plateau with velvet top. French, circa 1900. Solid piece of wood with gilt plasterwork decoration on sides, brown velvet top and 4 bun feet. Size: base: length: 9.5 inches; depth: 6.5 inches; height: 1.75 inches. Weight: 609g (allow 1 kg once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, some damage to plaster on back corner ie piece missing and gilt edging missing and also some wear to velvet top but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Best described as shabby chic.
