Antique French wooden gilt blue top jewellery decorative display stand plateau. Solid piece of wood with gilt plasterwork decoration on sides, blue distressed worn top and 4 bun feet. Circa 1880. Size: base: 13 x 5 inches; height 1.5 inches. Weight: 550g (allow up to 2 kg volumetric weight once packed up). Condition commensurate with age - silk top is worn and there are various knocks to underside but all part of its charm and character. Best described as shabby chic or faded grandeur - a fabulous piece! Priced accordingly.
