Antique French warm brown cotton chasse trousers by Au Coutil Breton size L. 100% Cotton - fabulous, heavy duty material with warm lining. Maker's label inside - "Au Coutil Breton". Metal fastening, button fly, belt tab at back, pockets, ticket pocket. They have been let out by a dart at the back but could easily be altered to make smaller again. Size: Waist: 40 inches; Leg inseam: 20.5 inches; Total length: 35 inches. (The dart at back of waist measures 7 inches so if this was taken in/removed, the waist could be 36 inches). Weight: 960g (allow 1.5 kg once packed). Good condition for their age.
