Antique French wall mounted crucifix on red velvet in gilt gesso frame

Antique French wall mounted crucifix on red velvet in gilt gesso frame. French, circa 1890. Gilt gesso frame, red velvet backing and Jesus is not carved out of plastic. Size of frame: 10 x 8.25 inches; Size of cross: 4.75 x 2.75 inches; Size of Jesus: 2.75 x 2.5 inches. Weight: 600g (allow up to 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate. Priced accordingly.
