Antique French still life oil painting study of game duck pheasant and partridge (2 of 2). French School, circa 1920. Signed by the artist but difficult to decipher signature. Oil on canvas. Depicts a game duck, pheasant and partridge. Size: 23 x 18 inches; Weight: 1.93 kg (allow 6 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and some flaking and paint loss but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This painting is quite sombre and melancholy and, although photographed in daylight, please understand that it is quite dark in reality.
