Antique French small black Breton wool and velvet jacket coat size XS UK 6/8. 100% Wool with velvet sections. Sourced in France from Brittany - a Breton jacket. Petite size - probably originally a boys jacket. Open front, wide sleeves, wool jacket with lots of velvet sections - back of neck, front, sleeves, patches at back - a wonderful old garment. Size: Chest: 38 inches; Shoulder to shoulder: 16 inches; Sleeve length: 17 inches; arm inseam: 16.5 inches; Length: 23 inches. Weight: allow 1 kg once packed. Tatty condition, commensurate with age and use - lots of wear to velvet pile with fading and cuffs and shoulders threadbare but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. A wonderful display item or costume (if not to be worn).
