Antique French signed oil painting portrait study of goat and cart dated 1907. French, dated 1907. Signed by the artist but difficult to decipher signature. Oil on canvas. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Depicts man with cart and goat. Size of frame: 24 x 20 inches; Size of canvas: 17.75 x 13.75 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 17.5 x 13.5 inches. Weight: 2.4 kg (allow 7 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and some minor knocks to gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged.
