Antique French religious Gothic style glazed icon display case with hinged door. French, circa 1880-1900. Gilt painted, Gothic decoration, glazed icon display case with hinged door at back. Size: height: 14.75 inches; width: 7.5 inches; depth: 4.25 inches; height of door: 8 inches: width of door: 3 inches. Weight: 1.27 kg (allow up to 5 kg once packed as will have to have adequate packaging and a box within a box to protect). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and lots of knocks to gilt paintwork but all part of its charm and character. Please note it is very delicate and, although we will pack extremely well, it is possible that some damage to the gilt decoration may occur in transit - all risk rests with the buyer.
