Antique oil painting portrait of gentleman dandy salon court scene signed Morla 1 of 2. French, circa 1900. Signed by the artist. Oil on canvas. Gilt gesso frame. Size of frame: 21 x 16.5 inches. Size of canvas: 15 x 10.25 inches. Weight: 1.9 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to and a large piece missing from gesso frame at bottom but otherwise fine and all part of its character. Priced accordingly. This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged. Please understand this before committing to buy and it will need to be understood that the item cannot be returned for this reason.
